hi karah, i visited your blog via a post of carole on facebook and love your story and art… and then you asked to say hi … so here i am, saying hi
) good luck with everything here on the island !!!
Thank you for stopping by and saying hi Brigitte! We are in love with the island and I’m looking forward to showing it off a little on this blog.
Hi Karah,
Thanks for featuring my pinecone map ornament – I’d love to see how yours turns out. I’m so very envious of your lifestyle – we spent a day (yes, just one day) on Curacao and loved it. Maybe someday we’ll get to live on our dream island!
You are welcome! I really wanted to try it, yours came out so great. Maybe next year.
One day is definitely not enough time, hopefully you get a chance to come back sometime!
First time visitor, here! I found you through your link up with Too Much Time On My Hands.
I am so touched by your acts of kindness! I just may give this a try – thank you for the inspiration!
It’s been a pleasure getting to know you, I’ll be back again soon!
Hi, Karah! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. You are the second person to ask me to do the whole “impossibility” thing. I guess now it’s meant to be, but as I told the other blogger, my goal up to this point is to get out of menopause alive! Or without killing someone else! I will find a project that I consider impossible, I guess. (Even though at my age, I have learned that there isn’t a whole lot out there that is truly impossible.)
We’re stalking you! haha I think you have to join, I mean, we wouldn’t have any other murder tutorials in the challenge.
Totally kidding, don’t kill anyone, but your adventures in this thing called menopause are sure to be entertaining (and educational) for us all!
Karah, Congratulations on this wonderful site!!
The weather back here in Maryland is not bad for January but not as nice as where you are.
Enjoy this time in your life!
Hola!!!!!!!

Loving the dog silohuettes, Couple questions:
a) could you have just painted over the floral canvas with gesso or primer and started painting on top of that? (seems like alot of work to remove/flip and restaple)!
b) just a hint, instead of cutting and tracing, I use alot of carbon paper..it’s lovely stuff.
Now only to find myself some Basset hound sillohuettes from the Houndies!
And also loved the 1 screw hanging method! Wunderbar!
Hello Karah,
Just wanted to quickly say “hi y’all” and to tell you I love your doggy silhouettes and the way you write! Your blog is inspiring and fun! Plus, it is so sweet to see someone else love their pets so dearly. If you lived in Atlanta, we would be fast friends.
Kindest regards,
Jacque (aka chihuahua-mama )
Would like the name of the doggie artist please
Hi,
Just found your blog and I would also like the name of the dog artist. Thanks so much!
Found your dog silhouettes on Pinterest and my sisters are ready to do all the family dogs! Good directions. But for us newbies, what kind of paint do you recommend? Thanks.
Hi Karah! Love your ideas and DIYs. Can you tell me what faux-co-paging is? And how to do it?
Thanks,
Stephanie
